AVERY ROSE PEDELL
Avery Rose Pedell (they/she) is a Brooklyn-based theater artist who is especially passionate about telling queer and feminist stories.
Recent directing work includes "The End of All Flesh" (The Wild Project/The Magnet; NYC Fringe Festival, Best Musical), "Bone By Bone" (National Queer Theater), "bby/mmy" (The Tank; Limefest) and "The Eulogy Approach" (Theatre Row). Avery has also done developmental work with The Judith Champion MixFest
at The Atlantic Theater, The Exponential Festival at Target Margin Theater, and the Evolution Festival at The Center at West Park.
Avery received a BA from Wesleyan University in Theater and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies where they earned the Carol B. Ohmann Prize for Best Thesis for their original play "Elsie's Death Party..."
Avery studied acting at the Moscow Art Theatre and can be seen on television shows such as "And Just Like That," "Blue Bloods," and "Law & Order: SVU."

When Avery isn't working in theater, you can find them bartending and brewing sake in Bushwick, singing in their friend's bands, walking Turnip the Dog, training for another NYC Marathon, and trying to get pink hair dye stains off of... everything.
